Im Prerna Bisht and this is my journey of choosing the course that I'm persuing.
As I step into the third year of my Journalism and Mass Communication program at Graphic Era Hill University in Dehradun, I can't help but reflect on the remarkable journey that brought me here. Initially uncertain about which path to take, I chose this course somewhat randomly. Little did I know that it would ignite a passionate dedication within me to become a television anchor. Along the way, I've had the privilege of gaining hands-on experience in the field, working as a reporter for a local newspaper. This blog is a testament to the transformative power of education and the incredible opportunities that arise when one follows their heart.
Discovering my Passion:
The early days of my journey in journalism were marked by a sense of uncertainty. I wasn't entirely sure if this was the right path for me, but something about the field intrigued me. As I learned deeper into the coursework, I found myself captivated by the art of storytelling, the power of media, and its ability to shape perspectives. Slowly but surely, I began to uncover my true calling.
A Dream Takes Shape:

And as I was an introvert so it was hard to me to socialize and communicate with people. However, each hurdle was a stepping stone to growth. It taught me resilience, adaptability, and the importance of maintaining integrity in my work. Also now I'm not that uncomfortable or scared to face a camera or connect or communicate with others.
Looking Ahead:
As I enter my third year, I do so with a newfound sense of purpose and determination. I know that the path to becoming a successful TV anchor is paved with hard work, dedication, and a continuous hunger for learning. With the unwavering support of my professors, mentors, and peers, I am confident that I am on the right track.
